Every year, MADD Durham sponsors poster contests at all fairs in Durham Region.

Different poster titles are selected for each fair.  It Could Happen to You was the title selected for the 2001 poster contest at the Brooklin Spring Fair.

The brilliant first place artwork shown at right was created by Alexander Bobyk, a grade 11 student at Father Leo Austin Secondary School, in Whitby.

Alexander's poster has been displayed throughout Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, and Oshawa, as part of a MADD Durham bus tail promotion.  His artwork can also be found on MADD Durham's "It Could Happen to You" Elementary School Educational Pamphlet.
